Danny gets a Camcorder

Week 38:
Danny buys a pre-loved Panasonic AG-DVX100A Camcorder (file pic) for a good price from ebay. He picks it up from a guy in Kelvin Grove (who lives next door to a house I lived in 19yrs ago: "Normanby Towers"). Film-like quality with attachable mic.
He has been shooting some beautiful flora and fauna in the Redcliffe wetlands every chance he gets. He even made a mic sock, which works like a bought one, out of some faux fur I had.
The camcorder will be excellent to take on our Adventures, which we aim to embark on around late Feb, 2012. And...rumour has it that our handyman, Poustie will be coming to visit Keith in a couple of weeks.
We were walking in Chelsea St. Reserve and Danny said: I love this camcorder!

Flashback to Keith's arrival at Pearl Street

Week 35:
Danny has a street meeting with Poustie. His work at Moreton is nearing an end. He said he is looking forward to coming back and working on Keith. Hoorah!

Week 36:
Danny edits Keith's Arrival video that I shot last year on our Sony HandyCam and posts it on youtube.

Then...Danny buys something on ebay that is very exciting!

The Redcliffe Rag

Redcliffe Song & Danny's Photo Documentary

Week 31
Well it rained for 6 days over Christmas, and so Jim D'Ville and Danny wrote a song about Redcliffe "The Redcliffe Rag" and we recorded it in our loungeroom with:
Sammy on Vocals; Danny on Guitar; Jim on Ukes and Linda on Uke
Then it was sunny for 2 days and Jim shot a film clip around Redcliffe and edited it on his laptop. SEE ABOVE POST

Week 33
All this recording and videoing was very inspiring and now Danny has the film bug. He made lots of great short photo documentaries about the recent floods and posted them on face book.
This one is my favourite:

Pouste (our Pearl St handyman) was home for a day over Christmas, then back to Moreton Isle for the busy season.

Keith is being very patient and has become a temporary shed in the meantime!
